You will spend two days in the private camp site in Drosky’s where you will enjoy activities such as boat trips, bird watching, guided nature walks and fishing. The Okavango Panhandle lies in the north-eastern part of Botswana where the river widens into channels across the sand. This narrow strip of swampland is the main Okavango River before it fans out into the Delta and is relatively underdeveloped. The Okavango Panhandle consists of 80 kilometres of canals with flat tranquil water running in between papyrus and reeds in this diverse habitat. You will overnight in Maun for break-up to connect to CKGR. Two nights in Passarge Valley, home to a diverse population of wildlife, mature woodland entices more than just herbivores. When the rains arrive, the plains surge into life and become one of the primary sites in Botswana to catch a glimpse of the famous black-maned Kalahari lions. If you are particularly lucky, you could even get the chance to view one of Africa’s rarest animals – the African wild dog.

The Makgadikgadi Pans is situated in the central region of the country and covers approximate 12 000 sq km; the largest salt pans on the planet. For most of the year the area is dried up, however, as soon as the first rains fall, the region plays host to an alluring display of animal life. The water encourages one of Africa’s great migrations. The Nata Sanctuary becomes a wonderful paradise for the water-loving birds especially when the Nata River flows into the terrain, making it the perfect water area for the birds. Aptly and fondly known as ‘The Land of The Giants’, Chobe National Park in the north of beautiful Botswana is home to Africa’s largest elephant population and comprises more than 10,000km2 of rich ecosystems, diverse landscapes and an almost unparalleled abundance of wildlife and birdlife all centred around the stunning Chobe River, and in close proximity to a number of Southern Africa’s other safari must-sees.

Victoria Falls is a town in western Zimbabwe and a gateway to the massive waterfall of the same name. Here, the Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is 1905 Victoria Falls Bridge.
